Fall is the perfect time to go Ecosploring in Walton County - clear and cool blue skies, sparkling gulf waters, and a breezy, relaxed feeling permeates the air. The Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance (CBA), in partnership with Visit South Walton and Northwest Florida State College, announces the fall season of its popular eco-tourism initiative - Eco Adventures of Walton County.

Kickball Kickoff Party at Shades SEPT 16

The Emerald Coast will score an exciting, new sporting opportunity this fall as Whole Life Fitness, a locally based organization that promotes overall wellness for children and adults through recreational activities and education, launches the area’s first kickball club. The adult co-ed club’s season will begin Tuesday, Sept. 16, with following games held each Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, depending on the number of registered participants, on the regulation-size field at WindGarden Park at WaterSound Origins.
 

Art of Giving to Benefit Food for Thought Outreach Sep 18

Coming off the success of last year's inaugural event with an auction of Justin Gaffrey paintings, Food For Thought Outreach will have the Second Annual Art of Giving on SEPT 18 from 6:30-9 p.m. at the Churchill Oaks Clubhouse, presented by Southern Fashion House and Summer House Lifestyle. But there's a twist for this year's fundraiser. Instead of one artist, the event will feature the works of three acclaimed local artists.

The Village of Baytowne Wharf is hosting Baytowne Art Walk August 29-31 from 5-10pm in the Events Plaza. Stroll the streets of Baytowne Wharf as you enjoy live music from local musicians and browse a variety of works by local and regional artists. 
 
This year's Baytowne Art Walk is set to be the biggest one yet with fifty artist booths featuring fine art, folk art, jewelry, coastal themed art, handmade signs, picture frames, and more.
