Jeff Black comes to The Seaside Repertory Theatre’s main stage this November. The concert is on November 7, 2013 at 7:30 p.m.
 

Sandestin has announced its festivities, food and fun offered during the most wonderful time of the year, and the opportunity to give thanks in paradise this holiday season.

On Thanksgiving Day, November 28, Sandestin is offering a huge Thanksgiving Brunch at the Linkside Center from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Enjoy stunning views of the bay plus a mouthwatering assortment food. Sandestin’s award-winning culinary team presents a delicious collection of Holiday favorites.

Local artist Joan Vienot will debut an exhibit of paintings at Grayt Grounds of Monet Monet in Grayton Beach with a reception on Nov. 2 from 5-9 p.m. Everyone is invited to come out and join friends and the art community for this special evening event in the gardens. Joan's art exhibit, "The Present Moment", will be on display at Grayt Grounds from Nov. 2-17. 

Join McCaskill and Company on November 8 and 9 from 10:00 - 5:30 for a trunk show by Marco Bicego. In addition to incredible Italian jewelry, there will also be an Italian wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres.
 

The Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation (MKAF) will host the 18th Annual Festival of the Arts on Oct. 26-27, 2013. One of the Southeast's premier art festivals, the event features more than 100 juried artists competing for cash prizes. Previously held at Henderson Beach State Park in Destin, Fla., the anticipated annual event is moving a mile north to the recently enhanced Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village. 

The Seaside Institute will hold its first Plein Air Artists Colony Invitational in Seaside from Oct. 14-19, 2013. The artists invited to participate will stay in the new Seaside Academic Village cottages. A dozen artists will demonstrate open air painting as they capture scenes on canvas at locations in Seaside, Rosemary Beach, and Alys Beach.

The Baytowne Beer Festival is a favorite for us here on the coast - excellent beer and food in South Walton at Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin. With the boom of interest in craft beers, the 6th annual edition of the festival this October 18-19 will be more popular than ever.

On Thursday, September 26, 2013, Proffitt PR held its 7th Girls’ Night Out (GNO) event, Arabian Nights at Elephant Walk in Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort and raised $12,501.37.

A professional artist for more than 20 years and a glass artist for the past 13, Mary Hong is now sharing her passion for glass and unique techniques through instructional workshops. The upcoming "Glass Art Meets Canvas/Board" workshops are themed for fall and the holidays. The October classes will feature fall designs and marine life, and the November and December classes feature holiday-themed designs, including angels and Christmas trees.
