High thread count is vastly overrated - cotton jersey sheets are the way to go! Don't wrinkle and feel like your favorite old t-shirt.

I disagree. Jersey doesn't wrinkle, but it does stretch out of shape, and gets all baggy and disarrayed on the bed.

High thread count sheets keep a nice shape, because the fibers are tighter, and are smoother.

Also, I find that the jersey sheets always feel hotter, and stick to my skin during the summer (I'm hot natured)... HTC sheets seem to feel cooler and lighter, even in the summer heat with no A/C (like at my house :shock:).
Right on, KitLit - but, I do have jersey sheets on the outside bed for those extra cool nights. I've never been concerned about wrinkled sheets, but I'll bet Mango has!! :lol:

I'm totally the opposite - like a cozy bed and between Mother Nature or the funky AC at my house it's always cool when I'm sleeping.
