I highlighted the part we're talking about. It's the first line and it's the only thing 80% of Americans really want out of Congress. Personally I don't care if you need a tank to justify your existence, but I think the government should be able to verify that you're not likely to use it against it or other people prior to allowing purchase. Maybe keep with you after purchase.

What exactly do you think the founding fathers meant with the 2nd Amendment?
We agree that anyone that would hurt others or themselves should not have any access to any kind of weapon at all, the rub comes with how to make that happen.
I would go one step further and treat the right like a drivers license where you occasionally need to prove you still have the ability and capacity to handle and store a weapon safely
