Yes, and I'm being a little tongue in cheek. I just get tired of these people who I like to refer to as corpse worshipers. They need to spend a little less time weeping over the fact that their ancestors from 150 years ago aren't getting recognition. The fact is that maybe they were terrible people who don't deserve to be remembered. We've all got people like that in our ancestry. Anyone who says they don't is a liar.
I believe LOB is directing his ire at those who continue to whitewash history with their belief the Civil War was about anything other than slavery.
I failed to mention in my previous reply it was President Truman-a Democrat- who desegregated the military. Now we have the always pandering 'never his fault' Trump banning and expelling transgender people from serving their country. Announced in a tweet no less.
