Come Out To Walk Her Way in Rosemary Beach May 20

Whether you choose to parade in pumps, walk in wedges, strut in stilettos or stroll in sneakers, make plans to join us on Friday, May 20th for the 5th Annual Walk Her Way for Shelter House.

Presented by Rosemary Beach Foundation, men, women and children of all ages are invited to put on their fiercest footwear for a short walk through the streets of Rosemary Beach. 

Celebrate Art Week South Walton in May

 The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) announces the first-ever Art Week South Walton (AWSW), an initiative bringing together neighborhoods, organizations and businesses to present quality arts and entertainment. Sponsored by Visit South Walton, 2016 Art Week includes ArtsQuest, Digital Graffiti, ECLive! and the Seaside Writers Conference, and will take place May 7th-20th in venues throughout South Walton.
 

A Better South Walton Announces Community Meetings in May

A Better South Walton, Inc. (ABSW), a nonprofit organization founded to seek more effective governance and local representation for South Walton, is holding three community meetings to discuss the key findings of the preliminary feasibility study and the opportunities it gives the community. These meetings will give the community the chance to get the information surrounding the ABSW initiative, ask questions and voice their concerns.

EO Wilson Biophilia Center Announces Summer Fun and Camps

Of course we all love the beach but we also love the REAL FLorida with swamps and creeks, backwoods, native plants and wildlife. Children's Volunteer Health Network Programs Reach Major Milestones

As Children’s Volunteer Health Network, Inc. (CVHN) continues its mission to improve the lives of children in need, two of their programs reached a major milestone last month. The CVHN Dental Clinic located in Santa Rosa Beach and the Just for Grins Mobile Dental Clinic each reached $2 million in free services provided to children in need in Walton and Okaloosa Counties.
