Shrimp Boil and Live Music for Patti at Summer Kitchen Cafe Feb 25

Summer kitchen Cafe in Rosemary Beach is holding a fundraiser for Patty Warsheski on February 25, 2012, from 1pm - 4pm.

Shrimp boil and live music
$60 per person (includes food, non-alcoholic beverages and 2 tickets for
wine/beer). Cash or checks only (payable to The Patti Warsheski Fund). Tickets can be purchased ahead of time at the Summer Kitchen or from Patty's sister, Miriam Dillon, at  Miriam@miriamdillon.com.

Inaugural 30A Wine Festival at Alys Beach March 3-4

The 30A Wine Festival is a two-day event, March 3 and 4, 2012, featuring seminars, a wine symposium, and  tastings from Ladera, Wagner Family of Wine, Huneeus Vintners, Rodney Strong Vineyards, Pali Wine Company, Haber Family Vineyards, Hitching Post, Four Roses Distillery, Foley Family Wines, Pacific Southern Wine Company and Republic National Distributing Company just to name a few. 

Harborwalk Village Hosts the 4th Annual Beachcomber Music Awards Sunday

Celebrate the coast’s most talented regional and local musicians on Sunday, Feb, 19 from 5-10PM as SoWal.com partner, The Beachcomber, brings local favorites to the stage for fun and awards.

The winners of the 4th Annual Beachcomber Music Awards are announced LIVE on the HarborWalk Village stage. The evening will include LIVE music throughout HarborWalk Village from several of the nominees. Concerts are free and open to the public.

“Wine, Women & Shoes” Weekend for PBS March 2-4

Slip on your stilettos and grab your “sole” sisters (and brothers!) for a sip-sational weekend of “Wine, Women & Shoes” all to raise funds in support of local PBS television station, WSRE.

Many community partners have joined together for one incredible weekend March 2-4 at various locations in Destin, Fla. Wine lovers (men and women) will meet some of the country’s top winemakers, savor delectable dinners prepared by top chefs, bid on exclusive auction packages and shop the latest trends in a designer marketplace.

Gulf Place Mardi Gras Street Party on Feb 18

Celebrate Mardi Gras in the street at Gulf Place. The Town Center Loop circle will be blocked off for a party in the street, with food, drinks, beads, costumes, parades, face-painting, arts &
crafts, and Live New Orleans music. The party starts at 12:00 noon with the “Barkus” Pet Parade;

Get Ready for Gumbo and Mardi Gras at Sandestin

Gumbo has always beean an essential fuel that helps to keep Mardi Gras going. Add dogs to the mix and we'll all be howling at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort during the extended President’s Day weekend starting Friday, February 17, 2012.

Thousands of travelers and local residents are expected to join the festivities including the Annual Sandestin Gumbo Festival, Mardi Gras Dog Parade and so much more.
