Summer Kayak Eco Tours at Camp Helen State Park

Join Camp Helen State Park staff for a guided Kayak Eco Tour on Lake Powell, the largest coastal dune lake in North America.
Tours begin promptly at 9:00 AM, meet in the Visitor Center. Cash only fee is $30 and includes park entry, watercraft rental, life jacket, paddle, and a donation to the Friends of Camp Helen State Park. Must be 12 years of age or older and able to independently navigate your own kayak. Reservations are required - call the park at 850-233-5059.

Go beyond your park visit, and learn about the history, natural natural communities and wildlife that make this Outstanding Florida Water unique and important. Additional Information: be sure to bring water and bring sun protection. Watercraft and gear from outside the park are not permitted. Tours take place in the outdoors and may be subject to cancellation due to inclement weather conditions.
Camp Helen State Park is host to fun events throughout the year such as the Fall Festival, kayak paddle tours, Americana music series, summer movie nights and much more. Camp Helen State Park is located at 23937 Panama City Beach Parkway, just west of the Phillips Inlet Bridge on the Bay County and Walton County line. The park is bordered on three sides by the Gulf of Mexico, Phillips Inlet, and Lake Powell, which is one of the largest coastal dune lakes in Florida.
