Shimmering Seas Jewelry and Gifts Sparkles at 30Avenue

30Avenue in Inlet Beach continues to add quality dining and shopping with several local businesses opening new locations or moving existing operations to the upscale destination. Shimmering Seas Jewlery and Gifts is the most recent SoWal retailer to take up residence at 30Avenue, located on US Hwy 98 just north of Rosemary Beach, at the eastern end of Scenic 30A.

Shimmering Seas moved their South Walton store after many successful years on Seaside's Central Square. Owner Laurie Olshefski has more than two decades of retail experience and an impressive business background, but she says it is the passion for what she does that motivates her each day.

She knows jewelry is such a personal gift and often has a role in milestone moments of peoples' lives. Unlike most other gifts, jewelry is passed down within families and has sentimental value that truly is timeless. Laurie and her staff at Shimmering Seas feels privileged to play a  part in their customers' memories. And as Laurie pointed out “It means we're really in the business of the heart.”

She endeavors to help customers look fabulous regardless of budget. Inside the store, case after case sparkles with unique, fashionable pieces, and many are very affordable, starting as low as $28. This accessible price point is perfect for visitors looking for a vacation keepsake, locals on the hunt for a new accessory, or gift giving ideas for any occasion.

Shimmering Seas showcases a wide range of designers  - some local such as Glass Designs from Santa Rosa Beach and Twenty-Nine Eleven out of Pensacola, and other fun and popular lines like Uno de 50, Alex and Ani, Pandora, Waxing Poetic and Reve.  

“We like to partner with brands that have a story; a meaningful message behind them”, Laurie explains. She herself is deeply spiritual and enjoys going to market and sourcing pieces which will embody positivity and personal growth. She wants people to look great and feel good at the same time.
