Hurricane Michael Update From Sandestin
October 13, 2018 by Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort
As Hurricane Michael has moved out of our area, we are thankful that Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort fared very well.
Our 2,400 acres sustained minimal damage, From beach to bay, Sandestin is open and back to business, offering short-term rentals, extended stays and long-term rental accommodations. View post storm footage of Sandestin here.
We know that our neighbors to the East - Mexico Beach, Panama City and many other surrounding areas - were hit hard. We are witnessing an outpouring of support as organizations are mobilizing in the area to support their recovery efforts and Sandestin is pitching in. Donations such as non-perishable food, cleaning supplies, toiletries, diapers, paper towels, etc will be collected and dispersed to the Hurricane Michael recovery efforts. Additionally, 100% of all donations made to the Sandestin Foundation for Kids will go towards purchasing supplies for the children affected by Hurricane Michael.
Thank you from Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort
