Guided Kayak Eco Tours In September at Camp Helen State Park

Join Camp Helen State Park staff for a Guided Kayak Eco Tour on Lake Powell, the largest coastal dune lake in North America. Must be 12 years of age or older and able to independently navigate your own kayak. Reservations are required - call the park at 850-233-5059.

Tours begin promptly at 9:00 AM, meet in the Visitor Center. Cash only fee is $30 and includes park entry, watercraft rental, life jacket, paddle and a donation to the Friends of Camp Helen State Park.

Additional Information: be sure to bring water and bring sun protection. Watercraft and gear from outside the park are not permitted. Tours take place in the outdoors and may be subject to cancellation due to inclement weather conditions. 

Camp Helen State Park is bordered on three sides by the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Powell, one of the largest coastal dune lakes in Florida. Activities include swimming, beachcombing, nature study, hiking, and both freshwater and saltwater fishing.
