Coastal Dune Lakes Clean-Up Day July 21

Join our South Walton community on July 21st to help clean up our precious coastal dune lakes. It's easy and fun, and the right thing to do - bring the kids and demonstrate civic pride and ecological awareness while enjoying spectacular views along SOuth WALton's southern shore.
Here are the easy Do-It-Yourself Steps
Step 1: Pick your favorite Coastal Dune Lake (by land or by water).
Step 2: (BYOB) Bring your own bucket, mess bag, reusable gloves and trash pickers.
Step 3: Place all trash collected at the closest Walton County TDC trash collection area of the selected Coastal Dune lake.
Trash will be collected by Walton County TDC workers after 11:00am. Partnership between the Choctawhatchee Basin Allinace (CBA), Visit South Walton (TDC), and Walton County Board of County Commissioners.
Visit South Walton (Walton County Tourist Development Council) is the official organization for South Walton tourism, funded by bed taxes collected from short-term vacation rentals. The TDC is part of Walton County government, and is governed by the Walton County Board of County Commissioners.
The Mission of the Walton County TDC is to direct and manage activities that will strengthen the position of the South Walton brand in the tourism marketplace, in order to increase the tourism economy of Walton County. The TDC will manage and maintain our beaches as a primary attraction and serve as a responsible industry organization to take a leadership role in addressing issues that affect tourism and the quality of life in Walton County.
