As we approach the end of the Comprehensive Plan Evaluation and Appraisal Report (EAR), we wanted to ensure you are aware of our upcoming presentation to the Board of County Commissioners next Tuesday.

This presentation will include an overview of our recommendations to the BOCC for amending the Walton County Comprehensive Plan. These recommendations are based on your input and suggestions, as well as our team's technical analysis and recommendations.
If the Board of County Commissioners votes to move these recommendations forward, the Planning Department will evaluate each of them and create an EAR Based Comprehensive Plan Amendment package for BOCC approval. Once approved, those formal recommendations will be submitted to the State of Florida for adoption into the Comp Plan.
