Do you love children and have an interest in sharing your artistic, musical, dramatic, or other teaching enrichment experiences in an authentic Montessori environment? Bay Grove Montessori School, formerly known as Sweetbay Montessori School, located off 331-S in Freeport, Florida, is searching for individuals interested to work with students ages 3-9 years old who are enrolled in our school’s new Aftercare Enrichment Program. Level II Background screening required for interested candidates.
In our efforts to connect students with local community members who offer expertise
in a particular enrichment area (e.g., Yoga, languages, pottery, gardening, etc.), we aim for our aftercare enrichment activities to be led by guest instructors and assisted by an Afterschool Lead Coordinator.
As a volunteer or paid guest instructor, you would assist the Bay Grove Staff and Guest Instructors in the implementation of the enrichment activity with our students, as well as support the other daily activities offered to our children during aftercare, including, snack, movement, outdoor time, gardening, distance learning recording, follow-up work, reading, and arts and crafts.
In exchange for volunteering, we are offering letters of recommendation and/or references to young professionals interested in a teaching career. Hourly Rate for paid guest instructors: $16-18/hr. Additional hours may be available for those who would like to substitute, as need be.
