If Mark Walburg wanted to buy walnuts, his best bet would be the Walla Walla Wal Wal. Am I right?

I would probably say WalWal of Walla Walla or the WalWal district of Walla Walla. By the way, the desert is referred to as DryWal.

I was one of the kids that rode the ferry to get to school in Freeport when a barge knocked the 331 bridge out. In all kinds of weather, very dangerous at times. When the new bridge was built, the residents were disappointed it was only 2 lanes, even back then we saw the need for four lanes. Just evacuating for a hurricane back then made you realize what hwy 331 will not carry. Fair warning to Sowal, EaWal, CeWal and WeWal....if evacuation is mandated, leave early! Evacuating for Hurricane Opal in October 1995 took me 6 hours to get to Dothan. Bumper to bumper even on I-10. Sowal population has more than doubled since then.

Day 5 or 6?:

Residents are questioning the absence of Public Works and planning to build a small super dome to meet at and pose for news helicopters. People no longer use east or west, but rather my side/you side of the hole. Provisions like beer, wine, and liquor are still good; however patience and humor are being rationed.

I can accept living on the wrong side of the tracks, but the wrong side of the hole I don't know about.

Wait a minute... if each of the bridges along 30-A were dismantled, would it be a good thing or a bad thing? Would it increase the traffic problems or lessen them? Once people knew the bridges were non-existent, they would be less inclined to drive to another place and be more content just where they are. A trip from Blue Mountain to Alys Beach would be an occasional adventure rather than over-used ordeal...just dreaming...
