Trick or Treaters

Well he looks like he would make a good pumpkin. That's too cute. You have to post pictures. I still think he's one of the cutest kids ever!

Are y'all serious about this beer thing? I may enjoy this trick or treat thing. This will be my little boy's first real door to door trick or treating.

Sure we're serious! The trick is to start out with a can of beer in your hand and then when you get to a friend's house, they see that it's empty so they give you another one. Halloween is so much fun for adults because you meet everyone out on the street and they're all doing the same as you, so you get to commiserate (after appropriate oohing and aaahing over the kids, of course). My husband and I used to fight over whose turn it was to take the kids out trick or treating. We finally decided to do shifts instead. :roll:

Years ago (like early 70's), lived in Montgomery on Green Ridge Road. We used to hang out in the graveyard where Lurlene Wallace and Hank Williams were buried on spooky nights! Great memories! Scary as H&**!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband and friends would load up the red wagon with a "bar" for the road. Take the kids trick or treating all around the neighborhood and come back feeling very happy!

We pull a wagon. I guess we started with good intention, if the kids get tried they don't have to walk, but it's really for our cooler!

Yes, the red wagon is definitely the way to go! At least then you have a ride home.

We've left the basket of candy on the porch some years --- 'cause we both wanted to go around the neighborhood with the kids. Our 'hood is like yours, everyone's out socializing while taking their kids around. And yes there are some beer coolers rolling around behind the goblins. Halloween weather is often quite nice here in Texas.
