Trick or Treaters

Anyone else have this problem?

Every Halloween, parents bus their kids to our neighborhood to go trick or treating because they'd probably be shot in their own neighborhood. (I encourage this and we have fun with the little monsters and gobblins.)

About 80% of these kids are very polite, but then there are the other 20%. These kids irritate the hell out of me. They're old enough to drive, they're not wearing costumes, and they bang on the door like I owe them something. Last year, we had two pregnant trick or treaters. WTH??

Hand out rules of courtesy to the door bangers....hand out condoms to the pregnant ones.

My wife is seriously thinking about putting out a sign that says something like, "no costume, no treat" but we don't want anyone to burn down our house.

Yes we have this problem. About 5 years ago we stopped handing out candy though, because some of them started trampling our landscaping. We just turn the lights off and stay in the back portions of our house if at home, or else just go out to dinner and see a good movie.

Sorry Landlocked for knocking your "hood" but I was born and raised there........and a fellow "WAR EAGLE"!!!

We used to live in the Garden District and it was unreal the people driving to our "hood" to Trick or Treat.
