I guess all is good in a parade, even Cecilia Jones using county employees to set up Tony Anderson election tent.

I thought that's what friends and supporters did...arrange events, set-ups etc. I don't think ANY county employee has any business being told or led by Cecilia Jones to do anything for a candidate! But then again, I have always believed that C. Jones is the invisible voice behind many of the posts on his FB page and website running T. Anderson's campaign. I would hope that whoever saw county employees setting up the tents got pictures.

You are comingling two very different issues. Giving a ride to tired children is one thing. My gosh, think of how much condemnation would have come Mr. Beasley's way if he had refused to let a child ride and that child had a heat stroke or something. So he did the right thing and helped some children. County employees in any way being involved in electioneering on the clock is totally inappropriate. One is an act of compassion towards children, the other is taking advantage of taxpayer money. However, if the county employees were out of uniform and off the clock, they can help any candidate they choose. I am very sensitive about protecting employees from undue political pressure and am totally against it. Once upon a time I was a county employee who was forced to attend rallies, put a campaign sign in my yard and otherwise campaign for my boss and I do not have fond memories of the practice.

Im not co-mingling anything. I didn't have an issue with Beasley helping children. I do have an issue with county employees wearing county shirts helping to set up a tent for T. Anderson...especially if they were on County time.

Sorry Danny when I see a public official in Walton county, I stop and think are they doing the right thing no matter if it's Beasly or Jones. I wasn't there to see the children loaded up, all I saw was the supervisor of elections office towing a boat with a sign that said "don't miss the boat, go Vote! It was full of skipper supporters when it passed me, what am I supposed to think? See this picture from online? Now check out my point of view. If it's so hot, put the kids wearing the skipper shirts in the A/C inside the truck.

And just to be clear about what I did say...Patriot Games. did I not tell you that you would be hard pressed to find something unethical in his behavior after Cory Godwin's explanation of why those kids were in that boat? I have no problem with the explanation. I do have issues with county employees in county logo shirts assisting T. Anderson...especially if they were on the clock!

Scared? Really bob? Your true colors coming thru.....You take peoples milk money in school and dare them to take it back?
No I didn't. You just seem to believe so strongly that something wrong had happened but aren't willing to do anything about it except complain and say everyone else is willing to accept what is going. Kind of reminds me of John G when he complains about the Sheriff but could have run against him to highlight the inefficient service he believes the residents of Walton County recieves.
As for as who I am voting for, I have no problem telling you I am leaning toward Ms Skipper although my wife and I have had discussion about Ms Lynch as my wife knows her. As for Mr Anderson that decision hasn't been made yet but he communicated well in the meeting I had with him but I have voted for Commissioner Meadows in the past. I will be voting for Mr Fletcher for District 1 and have yet to make final decision on District 3 but have narrowed it to 2. Supported Mr Gainer before Rep Gaetz bailed out of the race. Support Senator Evers for US Congress, no decision on House District 4 yet. School races, no decision yet. President, not voting for either of the major party candidates. US Senate, not sure yet.

Since you are so honest BW here are my picks.

Dist 5 - Meadows no question, Tony don't have a clue

Dist 3- Nipper, but could live with Dixon

Dist 1- Fletcher by far, but could live with Kramer

Superintendent- Hughes

Congress- Gaetz by far. Evers is a known lowlife in the Baker area and he is for sale.

Trump by far even though he sucks, Hillary is Cecilia Jones at the national level. Everything has an agenda or is a lie.

The rest are undecided so far, but I'm hopeful
