I have noticed your store during past week as I having been driving toward Grayton on 283. But I had no idea what your store was because ... I can't read the sign! I actually thought it was a Christmas store (I don't know what made me think that).

I just wanted to let you know so that maybe you can tweak the sign or add something that might let the "drive by traffic" know what you are about.

Just an idea, I have this incredible darkroom equipment, ton of paper and a traditionalist background. I could donate everything I have to your store and perhaps you could make space for it. Photography is a science, and I think children should be exposed to the traditional form-- perhaps even curious adults... there is so much history slipping away with the death of film.

I'd love to teach a class but do not have a masters.

Thanks for all of the support! We are working on the sign issue. There is an easement that goes all the way to the corner of the building so we cannot have a permanent sign on the ground. We are working on one similar to Big Mama's that can be placed close to the road and brought in when we close.... should be out before next weekend.

We would love to do a darkroom. We have some equipment, but don't know if it works or if it is complete. We thought about bringing it in, but some expertise would be needed, Masters degree or not. Please call Melissa at the store, 850-231-1400, and we'll see what we can do to make some photography happen.

For the astronomy buff, we have star charts, star globes, solar system models, a moon light that changes phase, a 3D adventure projector that comes with a journey through space movie, and Space Voyagers toys. We will have telescopes in soon. We're working with Orion to become their dealer in this area. Just let me know what you're looking for, and I'm sure we can find it if we don't already have it either here or on the way.
