Nah. Just be glad you weren't towed.
Maybe call or go wherever security is and nicely explain. Surely they will reconsider if you talk to the right person.

I am truly sorry that you got a ticket in Seaside but the irony is just too much for me......they were the first place on 30A (touted being a "walking community") but yet were the ones to start what is the ridiculous state of 30A traffic and parking woes...You would think that after 30 years they would realize that the whole no more than "1 vehicle per house" thing just doesnt work if you keep building houses that sleep 15+ and then condos and shopping and dining on top of that...Maybe its time for ALL of SOWAL to rethink their advertising of this area and maybe try to discourage more people from coming here. But hey..as I just re-read what I typed and thought, maybe that IS what they are trying to do with the parking ticket thing...

No. The worst they can do is tow you next time. But they can do that anytime.
I'd be curious if they keep track.
