Oral surgeon? in Destin

I'm a local, looking for an oral surgeon to remove a college kid's wisdom teeth this summer. Always skeptical when the dentist offers to do it. Want to take him to someone that does it daily?
Any referrals? Thanks

it depends on the dentist and training. my late father was a dentist and he took out all my wisdom teeth and my twin sister's with no problem-we went to a party that evening. my younger sister went to an oral surgeon and ended up with complications. of course if the teeth are in a complicated angle you want an oral surgeon. try to get it done during the week or make sure you have dr's cell #so if there are complications you don't worry about getting to him/her to call in additional meds or go into office if needed (sometimes hard on weekend).
