The 23rd Annual Mountainfilm on Tour returns to the WaterColor® Marina Park Amphitheater! This 2-night outdoor film festival is dedicated to educating, inspiring, and motivating audiences about issues that matter.

Each year Mountainfilm on Tour travels around the globe featuring a collection of culturally rich, adventure-packed and enlightening documentary short films selected from the best-loved films from the annual festival in Telluride. The films selected for the show will explore themes connected to the Mountainfilm mission of exploring cultures, preserving environments, and promoting adventure. The amphitheater offers a breathtaking outdoor setting for these moving films with a starry backdrop to enhance the unfolding clips of thought-provoking films. A Mountainfilm presenter will guide the audience through the program providing insight on the films, filmmakers and subjects.

WaterColor, Fla. | August 14, 2023 – Mountainfilm on Tour returns to WaterColor Inn & Resort’s Marina Park Amphitheater Nov. 3-4, with films that reflect Mountainfilm’s themes of exploring cultures, preserving environments and promoting adventure, while using the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world.

A two-night outdoor film festival dedicated to educating and motivating audiences about issues that matter, WaterColor Resort’s 23nd Annual Mountainfilm on Tour brings a selection of culturally rich, adventure-packed and inspiring documentary films to Northwest Florida.

The films will be shown in Marina Park Amphitheater, which offers a breathtaking outdoor setting against a backdrop of longleaf pines, under a starry sky to enhance the inspiring films. A Mountainfilm presenter will guide the audience through the program, providing insight on the films, filmmakers and subject matters.

“We’re looking forward to another great year partnering with Mountainfilm to bring some truly incredible films to WaterColor,” says Gabrielle Testa, GM of WaterColor Inn & Resort. “This will be our 23rd year hosting the event, and we keep bringing it back because it means so much to our guests and everyone who returns year after year to be entertained, inspired, and recharged in our beautiful surroundings.”

Tickets and lodging packages will be available at www.mountainfilmfl.com starting August 15, 2023, with discounted pricing offered for advance purchase. Tickets must be purchased in advance, as day of tickets will not be available this year. Each evening, gates open at 5:45 p.m., with films beginning at 7 p.m.
