The Kiteboarders seem to be happiest on the bay side anyways- all of the wind and not as many waves.

Theresa, I never got a response from the Ed in in that post. I did find Emerald Coast Kiteboarding that does lessons in St. Andrews Bay and I chatted with them. They seem very helpful, and they operate year round. As soon as my schedule and the weather coincide (hopefully this fall) I plan to take them up on at least a couple of their lessons:
