Re-enactors
Civil War re-enactors and people in period dress will be on the grounds and throughout the house this year (again)!!!

Illuminations
Jim Foley and his "Merry Men and Women" will be placing hundreds illuminations lining the drive into the park and around the mansion. This group of dedicated individuals does an outstanding job year after year, making the park and the evening's experience so beautiful.

Decorating the Mansion
The Friends of Eden would like to thank each and every one of the following Decorators for their time, decorating skills, and dedication to making Eden so festive for the Holidays.

1. Sunporch: ValleyCrest Landscape Maintenance provides high quality commercial landscaping services for the Panhandle. The team from ValleyCrest’s local branch for the Santa Rosa Beach area, is very excited to be a part of the Candle Light Open House tradition at Eden Gardens State Park. Their room will be appropriately themed as a “Wooded Wonderland” bringing elements of the beautiful nature that surrounds us.

2. Dining Room: The Church Support Circle of Point Washington United Methodist Church enjoys contributing to our community and all of the proceeds from their various fund raisers are distributed to local and national missions. This year the ladies are “Dreaming of a WhiteChristmas” of elegant dining at Eden. The room and table are beautifully set and decorated, just waiting for family and friends to join together for a Christmas Celebration.

3. Library: The Historic Point Washington Association enjoys and studies the appealing aesthetic and environmental qualities of the community with an eye towards positively affecting its continued development in the 21st century. The association aims to gather, preserve, and share accurate historical information about the community and to preserve it character, scale, architecture and open spaces. We have enjoyed decorating at the Wesley Mansion for the last 7 years. This year our theme is “ A Victorian Christmas Tea in the Library”.

4. Parlor: Green Thumb Garden Club's theme this year is“A Garden Party Christmas” - how appropriate to have a Garden themed Parlor with this lovely group of women.

5. Downstairs Entry and Stairway: The Heritage Center of Freeport - “Candy Cane Lane” is this year's festive theme to greet you when you come into the Wesley House.

6. Upstairs Landing: Path of Grace has joined us this year to make our upstairs landing a fun place to come to with the theme of “Candy Land” It is a perfect complement to the downstairs entry.

7. The Upstairs Sitting Room: The Durbin family and friends -“Frozen in Time” is this year's theme for the blue sitting room, making beautiful use of the blue, crystals and an icy theme.

8. Blue Bedroom: Ali Weil Nest30A www.nest30A.com - The theme this year is “Twas the Night Before Christmas at the Wesleys” This is our second year participating in this wonderful event and we are looking forward to seeing all of the beautiful rooms decorated for the Holidays. Nest30A is a home interiors and gift shop located inside the quaint market and shopping destination of Lily Pads of Grayton Beach.

9. The Children’s Bedroom: South Walton Montessori Academy theme is “A Children’sVictorian Christmas”. All decorations are hand made by the lower Elementary students aged 6 to 9. We did our best to only use materials that would have been available to the children that would have originally lived in this room. We are so excited to have been invited to participate in this festive tradition.

10. Red Bedroom: Beth Barron of Designer for a Day (ASID Designer) pays homage to her Mississippi roots with “Magnolias and Pearls”, pairing southern Christmas memories with a gorgeous red accented bedroom from the late 1800’s. Her story is sure to touch many of us.

11: Pink Bedroom: Birchberry Natural Home Spa by Tara Stacey - “A Child’s ChristmasDream” A perfect look at what a child’s dream might look like while they sleep on Christmas Eve.
Birchberry Natural Home Spa is a luxurious line of bath and body products made from high quality natural ingredients.

The Friends of Eden decorate the outside of the Wesley house and also the inside and outside of the Pavilion.
