Maybe it's just me...but why in the hell would someone knowingly go to a white supremacist, KKK, Nazi protest knowing they are a hate group and that whenever they have been confronted in the past it creates havoc? There is nothing peaceful about a white supremacist hate group and confronting them only fuels the hate. History has obviously taught us nothing. Stop giving them credibility and by showing up. That's exactly what people did...gave their hate credibility by being there!

Both sides of this issue were wrong.

Westboro Baptist Church (another racist hate group) was here not long ago and the only people giving them credibility was the press, who gave them the audience they sought!

Standing up against racism is not wrong. But I do see who is a fan of the stars and bars around here. :nono:

Spare me the self righteous indignation. You have never seen me carrying or flying the stars and bars flag or any other for that matter because there is blood on all of them.

Standing up against racism with violence, begets violence and we are now witnessing the results!

Spewing the vitriol that you do is a form of hate speech as well. Practice what you preach!

Trump believed it was appropriate to retweet this after a woman was run over and murdered by one of his Nazi supporters.

This is for those who still believe rightwing terrorists aren't a major problem and all sides are equal. In a May intelligence bulletin published by Foreign Policy magazine on Monday, DHS and the FBI pointed out that attacks by white supremacists on U.S. soil far outnumbered every other type of terrorist threat.

The agencies concluded that attacks by white supremacists “likely will continue to pose a threat of lethal violence over the next year.”

The intelligence bulletin makes clear that white supremacists “were responsible for 49 homicides in 26 attacks from 2000 to 2016 … more than any other domestic extremist movement."
