I grew up in rural western NY and I remember the sweet corn we use to get during the summer. At the corner of savage and 39, George the Farmer always set up a corn stand and sold his sweet corn. He was in his eighties, but still a spry old codger famous for the best corn around. I remember being told that he actually planted his sweet corn in a secret field surrounded by regular corn and only went out in the middle of the night to pick it so no one would find out his secret! Mmmmmmmm that was some good corn. Good memory too...
Could you pick me up some too Scooterbug?
