Basmati's has always been fantastic! I am not sure who's cooking these days, but original owners Charles and Shueh Mei (now of Dragonfly Farms; you can buy their organic produce at For the Health of It) were serving up crisp, clean, elegant and inspired Asian-Southern fusion cuisine before anyone had come up with a name for it!
Shueh Mei used to serve a crab and asparagus soup, chicken-broth based, that remains to this day one of the finest dishes I've ever had. Her rice vermicelli and seafood specialty was Hub's all time fave..... Very good to know the new owners/proprietors are still making so many folks happy with great food and a lovely setting.
