SinginChicken, when I travel, I quickly peruse some sites. One or two bad reviews and I shut it down, simply because I don't want to visit a new country and be tainted, not that I would let it stop me anyway. Some people want to travel and have comforts of their own homes at their beck and call.....not the case always! Traveled with a friend last year and he read every friggin' negative thing on the internet to the point that he was willing to try two places. Had to leave him in the dust on that trip as I get out and about.

Every person, business, country has bad days. While I had an unpleasant experience at that particular UPS, I have been back. I simply registered the issue in my mind and if I have time to go elsewhere, I do.

After over 10 years of being a member of Internet forums I take all comments both positive and negative with a grain of salt.

As to business reviews I would never avoid any business based on negative comments posted on a Internet forum. I can make that determination on my own by personally visiting the business. Besides what bothers someone about a business is very likely to not bother me at all.
