Where are you staying?Thank you so much for the reply! Crazy that they don't already have something like this for the area. I'm from Pensacola Beach, but we're trying to do something different this year and we're used to everything being close enough to walk to or at least having a trolley to take us all around the beach.
Pretty sure the plan is to head east from Grayton down to Seaside and Seagrove but so far only regional accesses are stops. So maybe the new Seagrove regional access about to open acres from Café Thirty-A will be a stop.Kind of strange how there isn't service from the Grayton lot to seagrove, rosemany, alys, or inlet. Maybe I've missed something....
That would make sense, but of course not. Trams taking riders to places where parking is extremely difficult or you have to pay to go there? No way, you gotta pay.Is there a trolley between Seaside and Seagrove or even down to Rosemary Beach? I'm seeing differing information when I search. Thanks!
Yes it's still running from the lot on 331 near the bay. What about the Seaside lot? Is that still free parking and a bus ride? Might try that if our 'house' isn't ready. Hate to pay parking when I come to the beach since it's already so expensive. Ellen
The trams go from West 30a to Grayton Beach, no further east. As I said earlier, having trams take people where it is hard to find parking would make sense, but the Commissioners want people to pay to park. Honestly, I would imagine it would take the trams at least 20-30 minutes just to pass through Seaside and the roads north of 30a through Seaside are not tram friendly. The county would have to have a tram running from east 30a to 395 and turn around. East 30 a needs trams far more than west 30a. Wait until they monetize the beach, that would be one helluva a fight, it's coming, you'll see. What about the Seaside lot? Is that still free parking and a bus ride?
