Some people live, learn, grow and evolve over time. Most of us do. Not everyone...which is why America is still trying to play catch up with most other advanced nations in so many ways. We'll get there. We're experiencing a few setbacks with white nationalists and red states (aided and abetted by billionaire donors and a corrupt SCOTUS) working hard to revise history, turn back the clock, and peddle culture wars against LGBTQ, minorities, education, children, science, government, health care, social justice and civil rights.. While keeping you ignorant, unvaccinated, in constant chaos, and reminding you that you are in danger from minorities trying to "replace you" with a little help from Tucker. (meanwhile gun violence escalates and will eventually impact you personally and you may or may not get it even then). Authoritarianism, theocracy and oligarchy will be the solution. It won't work in the long run. America is bigger and better than that.

We rule by 3 branches of government. The legislative branch and executive branch and judicial. All three branches allows for we the people to have power in an electoral process. Our founders debated giving we the people power but in the end it was decided that We The People should have an electoral process to hire and fire politicians. Otherwise their power would be unchecked. If you vote you are participating in a democracy. We have had this discussion so many times that I no longer care what you believe.
