All I can say is I could not disagree more with just about everything you say. Maybe the one thing we can agree on is that not one politician is going to fix the problems. We are a representative democracy meaning we elect people that represent us and make laws. Without a democracy there will be no we the people. It would be their (authoritarian or dictator) way or the highway. I will never understand why people can't see that. You must believe that we the people are too stupid to elect the right people. The fact is we do not always get it right. Politicians are humans and they make mistakes. Some are just plain bad to the core. You think Biden is that. I think trump is that. How did we get here? I assume it is the bias in the media, the outright lying to the people and the abuse of power where checks and balances no longer work. That is where the republicans are right now. I am sorry about that because I use to be all republican all the time. I will never go back to voting republican in my life time unless a miracle comes along. I prefer a 3rd party to be very honest. I have really lost patience with the left and right stuff. If we do not find a middle and have moderate behaviors we are going to lose our quality of life...

You keep saying democracy and every single democracy through history ends in what you fear (authoritarian or dictator), thats why I hate the word democracy.

The real question is how are these 2 our choices, its shows a glitch in the system somewhere
I don't know who the best democrat would be to run the country but I have a few favorites on the GOP side
If it weren't for his age Dr Sowell would be my first choice, Ben Carson is up there, I like Ben Shapiro's knowledge but he might have too much edge, I would love to see Tulsi Gabbard run for our side, I like Vivek Ramaswamy but he needs more time first, I love Candace Owens but she is too polarizing. I like Desantis but he is cracking under the weight that doesn't really exist, in my opinion he should sit this one out but I think he's the only one that can knock Trump out and there becomes a lesser of 2 evils thing going on.
