You don't always have to trust a scientist, but you have to trust the scientific process. It is all about repetition, verifiability and collaboration among smart people whose job it is to get to the bottom of things, even after false starts and blind alleys.

The scientific process, when it gets far enough down the road on an issue, is about the only thing you can trust in this life.

I did not say there is not global warming. I said I don't believe in man made global warming. Or man made global cooling for that matter.

The problem with the scientific "collaborators" is, who funds them? Could they have an agenda?

And you'll need to explaign that chart to me before I summon the Deity for opinion.

I understood what you wrote. There is not a natural explanation for the chart. What it shows is that we have polluted our air and caused global warming and a lot of other consequences better termed "climate change".

The scientific process weeds out people who make s**t up for special interests. The people who make s**t up and lies to you are the oil companies and the people they employ, including every republican and plenty of democrats.

If you ask and actually get an answer from your god it would likely be "duh. I made you stupid so you wouldn't get bored". Or he would blame the devil.
