Right here!
Why don't you try to back up your birther claims instead of questioning our credibility? You obviously disagree with our assertions, which means at the very least you have birther tendencies, so let's hear it.

When it comes to Obama, I'm not questioning anything, I know you have no credibility. :D The guy could start a nuclear war and you'de be behind him on it.

The theory that the Obama camp stretched out the birther controversy because it was to their advantage is in the same category as the theory that Obama benefits from being black (I heard Karl Rove put forth this theory on Fox). Yep, Karl, being black has traditionally been an advantage in America! Most white folks would change color if they could.

I'm standing behind the fact that there should never have been any controversy over his origins. Now from you, let's hear the birther argument that you have so staunchly defended.

I think it played out that way nicely though it's difficult to say if it was deliberate. I certainly would have tried to work that angle if it had been me.

Yep! and it's not over. There are still a number of people insisting the long form is a forgery.

I wish this birth certificate mess would go away so we could get to the bottom of the important issues like uncovering exactly what the Air Force did with the UFO and alien crew that crashed at Roswell. And did you see the news last week that JFK sent a cable to the CIA looking for information on what they knew about UFOs less than two weeks before his assasination?

You know, it is really a good thing Kurt has restricted the political forum to "members only". On this thread the idiocy and stupidity expressed by many on such a topic when it is so obvious we have really great problems facing us in this nation is really frightening and scary.
Barack Obama is our elected President. He will be so for at least two more years. I have to live with it and so does everybody else but that doesn't mean I'm racist because I might have questioned where he was born. I didn't but some of the idiocy expressed by some makes me almost wish I had. What a falicious position when it took so long for him to satisfy a segment of the American public, whether you agree with their doubts or not.
Also, may I suggest that some look at 30ashopper's grades on the President's performance on another thread before accusing him of being a "birther". He is far more generous than I would be because overall, I think he has done a poor job. We are all entitled to our opinions and, as I said, it is probably just as well they are not spread any further than they are because some are not only without merit, they are also without civility, thought or reasonable evaluation.

Candidate Obama complied with the legal requirements in the first place. (go to factcheck.org > FactCheck.org: Born in the U.S.A.) Maybe he considered it demeaning (as it was meant to be) to have to go beyond the law to prove that he is an American. Maybe he figured opponents would ask next to see documentary evidence that he wasn’t a Muslim. Or maybe, he is simply stubborn. I don’t know. (did anyone read about Graham's speech on EASTER SUNDAY?? > WH berates religious leader over birth comments - Politics - msnbc.com)

What matters is that the President of the United States had to ask for a waiver of Hawaiian law to prove he is who he is to people who couldn’t accept the facts, without extraordinary measures. I’m glad this issue may be laid to rest. But it’s a sad day for this country when the office of the president — the first African-American to occupy that office — has to capitulate to ludicrous demands to prove he is an American.

Left Take:: Trump advisor says long-form birth certificate STILL not enough

We look forward to reviewing it like so many other Americans do at this late date. But it is important to remember there are still dozens of other questions concerning this question of eligibility that need to be resolved to assure what has become a very skeptical public concerning Barack Obama’s parentage, his adoption, his citizenship status throughout his life and why he continues to cultivate a culture of secrecy around his life.

It wasn't that long ago that blacks in the South had to take a literacy test to be able to vote. Or to be able to vote they had to show that their grandfather had voted (origin of "grandfathering").
Maybe he thought it was no longer appropriate for a black man to have to go to lengths not required of others to prove his eligibility for anything.
