In Memory Of Harriet Huntress Crommelin (1946 - 2023)

Harriet Huntress Crommelin, 76, of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, passed away February 8, 2023 at her home in Seagrove Beach.

In 1995, Harriet moved to the Emerald Coast to open one of the first restaurants on Scenic 30A, Café Thirty-A, which has been consistently successful for almost 27 years. Harriet was a true trailblazer, a visionary. Her passion for fine wine and consistently delicious food has paved the way for many of the restaurants in South Walton, Florida. She was an inspiration to women entrepreneurs everywhere.

The Red Bar Rebuild Updates & Photos

The new Red Bar opened on July 15, 2020 for lunch 11-3 and dinner 4:30-10! Our beloved Red Bar was destroyed in an early morning fire on February 13, 2019. The Red Bar reconstruction is complete!  SEE The Red Bar Live Webcam >

Important: Parking has been closed to non-residents in Grayton Beach so you should park in the county parking lot 200 yards north of Scenic 30A on Hwy 283 and take the free shuttle to the Red Bar.
