Food For Thought Outreach and St. Joe Community Foundation are excited to announce their multi-year partnership with Food For Thought receiving a $105,000 grant over the next three years to support their efforts in fighting food insecurity and childhood hunger.
Point Washington Medical clinic is a donation-based clinic serving the SoWal community and has been overwhelmed with people seeking medical care and testing for COVID-19. Volunteers are needed NOW for a rewarding experience helping with all types of duties on clinic days - parking assistance, front desk, interpreters, health educators, nurses and health providers. Like many organizations across the country, Caring & Sharing of South Walton has seen a rapid increase in the number of people in need of food and financial assistance. The local nonprofit has risen to the occasion, serving more people than ever before, while also launching a relief fund to help other organizations in need.
Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation (DCWAF), one of the nation’s premier fundraising organizations, is pleased to announce a special virtual auction benefiting children in need in Northwest Florida during a time of great uncertainty.
“Large gatherings may be currently suspended, but the needs of our 16 children’s charities are greater than ever before. We feel a strong sense of responsibility to find creative ways to continue supporting our charity partners and the important work they are doing for the children in our community,” DCWAF President John Russell said.
Food For Thought's mission is to remove the negative impacts of hunger, and to empower children to get the most out of their education and development by providing them weekly access to healthy, easy to prepare meals through their many programs.

Children’s Volunteer Health Network (CVHN) recently accepted a grant of $35,000 from the Helping Hands Foundation of the All In Credit Union. The funds will go towards a second mobile dental unit to focus on restorative dental care in both Okaloosa and Walton Counties.
