On August 31, select South Walton restaurants will host Dine 4 Danny—a dine-out fundraiser to support Danny Margagliano, a former South Walton Fire District fireman and paramedic who was paralyzed in a diving accident, leaving him to struggle daily with overwhelming medical expenses and needs. Locals and visitors are invited to show their support for Danny simply by dining out at one of the participating restaurants this Saturday.

All are invited to come out to one of SoWal's best dining spots to have a great time in support of education and conservation. The E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center is hosting a fundraiser for area student programs, and the preservation of Longleaf pine trees, to be held at Bud & Alley’s from 5 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, Sep 8. 

Pandora’s Steakhouse of Grayton Beach has released its daily music schedule for September 2013. Summer may be winding down, but Pandora's will keep South Walton groovin'. Featuring local favorites as well as regional acts from around the South, Pandora’s music lineup will continue to be the highlight of the exciting and unique nightlife scene of 30A. Pandora’s also offers a late night menu, featuring hand-tossed pizzas, house made sliders and other selections for guests to indulge in past 10 p.m.

Rosemary Beach has some of our favorite restaurants in South Walton. On the ground floor of the recently opened The Pearl hotel is a new eatery that is already making waves - after only it's first week of operation. It's a beautifully appointed place that gives you the feeling of stepping back in time to the days when Ernerst Hemingway leaned on bars in Key West, toasting the good life.

Taste of The Beach is uncorking its 2013 lineup and the three-day event kicks off with Vine to Wine - A Wine Preview on August 23 at Seascape Resort's ballroom from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

On Friday August 23 Harbor Docks will host the 28th annual Caddy Shack Classic Charity Golf Tournament at Emerald Bay Golf Club. The tournament has a scramble format. Registration begins at noon at Emerald Bay Golf Club with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The cost is $500 per team or $125 per golfer. Hole sponsorships are available for $100. Mulligans, closest to the pin, long drives, and other contests can be entered at the course for donations. More than $300,000 has been raised since the tournament’s inception.
 

The Perfect Pig is a delightful café and gourmet market on the curve in Seagrove Beach at the Shops of Grand Isle - excellent breakfast, lunch, and dinner not to be missed! The South of France meets Napa Valley meets the Deep South in this adorable café. The hand-sliced bacon and ham, the homemade sauces and biscuits, and cheese smothering it all - create the perfect meal. It’s comfortable, family-friendly, and has outdoor seating. 

Redd’s Fueling Station is the newest little place in South Walton where everyone knows your name. Situated just behind Sally’s By the Sea Store in Blue Mountain Beach, this restaurant is bursting at the seams with entertainment. After opening the first week in July, there is a major local following of friends, locals and fans of Redd the Singing Bartender.

The Back Yard of Love is a beautiful and quaint little hidden gem in Grayton Beach. Situated on the grounds of Hibiscus Coffee & Guesthouse, under a canopy of old, majestic oaks, this cozy spot is the perfect place to enjoy Sunday brunch, a cold mimosa, and some sweet tunes. And boy do they have ‘em lined up in July!
