The Sandestin Wine Festival, one of the top wine festivals in the country, is reporting record ticket sales for its 2013 Spring event.
Slated for this April 18-21, the Sandestin Wine Festival is known as the “Kentucky Derby of Wine Festivals.” It will be a picture perfect event complete with white tents, the tasting of hundreds of wines, Gulf seafood and other culinary treats, and live music.
The Friends of Eden pay tribute to the camellia Saturday, Feb. 23 from 10am to 2pm at Eden Gardens State Park in Point Washington, located north of US Hwy 98 via CR 395.
Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, named “Best of Weddings in 2013” by The Knot today announced the Bride’s Just Wanna Have Fun Bridal Expo to be held at Sandestin’s Baytowne Conference Center this Saturday, Feb. 16 from 12:30-4 p.m. The Emerald Coast's top wedding vendors and destination wedding experts will all be gathered in one location to offer bride’s-to-be a one-on-one opportunity to experience a day full of designer wedding trend ideas.
The Gulf Place Merchants Association hosts the rapidly growing, semi-annual community yard sale at the Gulf Place Amphitheater at the corner of Scenic 30A and Highway 393. The event features vendors from the surrounding community selling a variety of merchandise including women and men’s apparel, original art, furniture, home accessories and more.

The Cobia World Championship Tournament is adding a new twist for 2013. The tournament is Cobia fishing's premier tournament and has taken place at Destin's Harbor Docks Restaurant for over 20 years. This year's tourney has partnered with Bote Boards to introduce the first ever Stand-up Paddle Board Division (SUP). The angler who lands the largest Cobia on a paddle board during the tournament will be awarded a new BOTE Board donated by the Destin store.
