Valentine’s weekend typically means romantic dinners and flowers for most, but for Walton County residents and visitors, it also signals the highly anticipated annual Valentine Tour of Homes.

Crescendo!: A Cultural & Culinary Extravaganza benefits Sinfonia Gulf Coast and its music education and community engagement initiatives. Taking place March 1 & March 3, 2024, this energy-infused experience will showcase world-class vintners, expert spirit purveyors, amazing auction items, and a special appearance by fashion icon Isaac Mizrahi who will perform his entertaining New York-style cabaret show. This year’s theme is Crescendo!: the New Noir.

Calling all ladies! Habitat for Humanity Walton County announces tickets are on sale for its 6th Annual Hard Hats & High Heels luncheon, which will be held on Friday, February 2 at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa from 11:00am to 1:00pm.

The SeaLight Festival makes its debut at Seascape Resort in Miramar Beach, FL from February 1 to April 6, 2024, Thursday thru Sunday from 5pm - 10pm.

Stinky’s Bait Shack is hosting the 14th Annual Swamp Writer Music Festival January 11-14, 2024.

Featuring local and regional favorites, the music festival extends over four days with performances by more than a dozen musicians taking the stage at the famed Bait Shack on West End 30A in Dune Allen Beach. The Swamp Writer Music Festival is free and open to the public. The Swamp Writer Music Festival is part of a year round commitment of supporting local musicians and rallying a community of music lovers.

The majestic grounds of Eden Gardens State Park has more than 370 camellias and many will be in bloom for the annual festival on Feb 10 from 10AM until 2PM.

The Sandestin Gumbo Festival takes place in The Village of Baytowne Wharf on Feb 23rd & 24th. The event is a beloved local winter tradition in South Walton, Florida. Featuring gumbo tasting throughout The Village as well as a bloody mary competition and live music. This year’s event is promising to serve up fun for everyone.

The Point Washington Medical Clinic (PWMC) is pleased to announce the official Ribbon Cutting and Reception of its new stand alone 4,750 sq. ft. facility located at 1321 N. County Hwy 395 in Santa Rosa Beach.

The press and public are invited to attend the event beginning at 4:00 p.m. with a ribbon cutting promptly at 4 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2024. Following the ribbon cutting there will be a reception with live music and tours of the building.
