Stinky's Pompano Tourney & All Day Happy Hour Starting 7 AM

It’s always fun to watch the Pompano action heat up on SoWal Beaches at this time of year.

Experienced local anglers can be seen on the beach, or on a sandbar perched on “pompano ladders” sight-fishing for the perfect cast. Adding to the excitement each Spring are salty anglers and newcomers joining together in the spirit of camaraderie and competition for Stinky’s annual Pompano Tournament. This year's 7th annual edition runs from April 1st through May 15.

Stinky's Fish Camp 10th Anniversary Celebration is April 1 (April Fools Day) but the party is all weekend! Come out to celebrate with everyone at Stinky's and pass a good time with good food and live music til the wee hours. The weekend kicks off on Friday, March 31 with a Captain's Party at the Bait Shack for the 7th annual Stinky's Pompano Tournament. The tournament runs from April 1 - May 15. The party continues through Sunday with Stinky's Brunch, music and more crawfish. 

Walton County Florida Real Estate Report for February 2017

The newest Walton County Real Estate Report includes all of South Walton real estate activity for February 2017, including statistics for single family homes, townhomes, and condos in Walton County, Florida.

The beaches were cool during the second month of 2017  but real estate was hot with single family closed sales up 10% for February compared to the same month last year. The number of pending sales was up a whopping 27%. Inventory was up 2.4%. Median sales price was also up 2.4%.

Walton County Florida Real Estate Report for January 2017

The newest South Walton real estate report for January 2017 includes statistics for single family homes, townhomes, and condos in Walton County, Florida.

The new year is off to a hot start with single family closed sales up 14.5% for January compared to the same month last year. Pending listings was up 11.5%. Inventory was up 6%. Median sales price was up 15%.

A new record has been set in South Walton with the closing of a Gulf front home in Rosemary Beach at $12.5 Million for a 4,250 square-foot home.

Walton County Florida Real Estate Report Year End 2016

The latest local real estate report covers the entire year of 2016 and includes statistics for single family homes, townhomes, and condos in Walton County, Florida.

Single family closed sales were up 5.6% for 2016 compared to 2015. The percentage of closed sales paid in cash was up 2.8%. Inventory was up 5.7%. Median sales price was up 4.6%. Dollar volume up 12.6% totaling $1.5 Billion. Walton County single family home market appears to be continuing a healthy trend upward.
