SoWal.com has a complete list of all South Walton public beach accesses along Scenic30A, searchable by features such as lifeguards, parking, restrooms, and more. In addition we have an interactive map of beach accesses that will help you find the access nearest you.
Each access has a video and photo gallery which show the features and beautiful Gulf views.
Property owners and businesses are welcome to link to the maps and videos, you can even embed the videos on your site - very helpful for rental owners and managers!

Many visitors to SoWal are shocked to find out that much of the stretch of beach between Miramar Beach and Inlet Beach is deeded to beachfront owners. As parking has gotten scarce and chair vendors have taken over much of the public space, competition for a place to relax is getting heated.
SoWal Lifeguards On the Beach for New Season
South Walton Fire District (SWFD) lifeguards report today to their FOURTEEN (14) tower locations March 1, 2018 and will continue to staff them until the end of the season on September 30, 2018.

Seaside Dune Restoration Project Underway
In an effort to mitigate storm effects and maintain its beaches in the best possible condition, Seaside is restoring and re-nourishing its coastal sand dunes.
This approach will further develop Seaside’s long-term preservation and resiliency strategy to protect the landscape and maintain the native ecosystems. Its implementation will provide natural, enduring and future protection with no adverse effect to adjacent coastal areas.
We Share the Beaches Educational Series
Friends of South Walton Sea Turtles group invites our community to the We Share the Beaches Educational Series held at the South Walton Coastal Branch Library.
Programs are held monthly on specified Wednesday nights as announced from 6:30 til 7:30pm. Free and open to the public and also as training for Friends of South Walton Sea Turtle Volunteer Beach Ambassadors.
