Russell Vacation Rentals Launches with 60 Years of Combined Experience

Russell & Russell, the only full-service hospitality consulting firm based in Northwest Florida, has formed Russell Vacation Rentals, which began operating Nov. 1, 2013.

The new company brings a wealth of hospitality experience team to service vacation rental properties within the Miramar Beach area. The full-service company will offer personalized service for both owners and guests; sophisticated technology solutions including an in-house reservation system capable of booking specific units (guest rooms) and a sales platform based on integrated e-commerce and marketing strategies.

“The real estate market is in full recovery, and homeowners are in a better position to invest in their properties. With that investment comes a higher expectation from the vacation rental providers. We think the timing is right to offer a new alternative in the vacation rental market place,” said John Russell, a partner with Russell & Russell Consulting.

The parent company, Russell & Russell Consulting, is a hospitality management company founded in March 2012. It is owned and operated by two industry veterans with 60 years collective experience, who take a tag-team approach to the company’s deep roster of services. John Russell, formally President of Sandestin Investments LLC, has served as general manager for Hyatt Hotels and Ritz-Carlton during his three-decade career, primarily handles property management operation and financials. Scott Russell, formally Vice-President of Sales and Marketing for Sandestin Investments, LLC and Vice President of Global Sales for Ritz-Carlton focuses on building integrated sales and marketing strategies and mapping out the resources needed to drive top line results for their clients.
