Fall in South Walton is the best of all with perfect weather and so many festivals along the coast. This is the time local music lovers come out to their favorite music spots. Many SoWal restaurants are serving up good music throughout the off season. Check the SoWal Live Music Calendar for shows coming up this fall and throughout the year - new performances added daily!

Back to Nature Festival at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park is Oct. 19 with live music in the evening featuring The Owsley Brothers and The Courtyard Saints.

Baytowne Beer Festival Oct. 19 with live music all afternoon during the craft tasting event 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m, featuring The Owsley Brothers and Native Run.

Panama City Beach Seafood & Music Festival Oct. 17-18 at Aaron Bessant Park in Panama City Beach offers mouthwatering seafood, some of the world’s most beautiful beaches and nonstop music from some of the industry’s top performers and rising stars. Featured music by The Band Perry, Blues Traveler, Foghat, the Outlaws, and more!

Boggy Bayou Mullet Festival will be held October 17-19, 2014 in Niceville, Florida. Live music on the main stage for three days featuring Martina McBride, Dustin Lynch, Crystal Yates, Hunter Phelps and more. 

Festival of the Arts at Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Center in Destin will feature music in the Dugas Pavilion on Oct. 25 and 26. Geoff McBride and several artists on stage throughout the weekend!

Old Truck Bluegrass Band to perform at Gulf Place in the amphitheater on Sunday, Oct. 26, 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Don't miss this last show of the series in one of the best venues in SoWal.

Wednesday night concerts at The Village of Baytowne Wharf events plaza continue year round in Sandestin, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Get the new lineup each month on SoWal Music Calendar.

30A Songwriter Radio's Open Mic Night at Pandora's every Wed night. Live music on most nights for the rest of the week. Party central in Grayton Beach!

Great Coffee Hour with live music every Tue/Thu evening in the listening room at Grayt Coffee House. See the lineup on the music calendar and watch for 50/50 dinner events with special music guests.

A Beach Home Companion at the Seaside REP Theatre is a variety show including special music guests each week through Oct. 24. Chris Alvarado, Billy Garrett and Dread Clampitt on stage this week.

Stinky's Fish Camp in Dune Allen Beach is bringing back their off season live music with Old Bull Young Bulls every Thurs, Duck Phat on Fridays, and The Steenos with Franko Washboard Jackson on Sundays.

Whiskey Bravo in Seagrove Beach fall music series on Friday nights on the Rooftop from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Gather around one of the fire-pits and enjoy the night. See the lineup on the calendar!

Bruno's Pizza in WaterSound Beach is hosting live music on the deck on Fri and Sat nights in October from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m, with Derek Givens (Fri) and Dan McNeil (Sat).

Local Catch Bar & Grill in Blue Mountain Beach hosts Sunday Funday with live music every week starting at 4:00 p.m., plus special shows coming up Friday (Forrest Williams Band) and Halloween Party Oct. 31 with Forrest Williams Band!

Local favorite Dread Clampitt performs at The Red Bar on Sundays at noon and again at 7:00 p.m. A favorite gathering place every Sunday!

Marie's Bistro hosts fun bands every Fri and Sat nights. Check the music calendar for their weekly lineup. If you like karaoke then you'll love Tues and Wed nights at Marie's.

Americana Under the Stars every Thurs night at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park in the amphitheater. Check the lineup each month on SoWal Events Calendar.

Kyle Lamonica at The Gathering Spot in WaterColor every Monday night at 6:00 p.m. It's a hidden gem with great cocktails and sushi!

Seaside brings The Dirty Guv'nahs to the Seaside Countdown NYE celebration Dec. 31!

30A Songwriters Festival opens the new year Jan. 16-18 where more than 200 performances will rock over 20 South Walton venues along Scenic 30A for 3 straight days and nights. Singer/songwriter lineup and tickets coming soon.

Other venues with regular live music include Shorty's, Redd's Fueling Station, Bric a Brac (Destin), Old Florida Fish House, The Bowery, Funky Blues Shack Baytowne, Edward's, Grayton Bar & Grill, La Playa, and many more excellent restaurants and music spots with indoor and outdoor shows. Destin harbor restaurants host live music and outdoor concerts on a regular basis.
