September 18, 2019 by SoWal Staff
Join the fun at our local "Block Party" on Grayton Beach's main drag in "downotown" this weekend.
The 1st Annual Grayt Vibes Art & Music Festival will take over Hotz Avenue – between Defuniak & Garfield Street – in Grayton Beach on Sunday, September 22nd from noon - 8PM . This will be a “block party” for area locals to celebrate a successful summer season, connect with the community, enjoy art & music and support local businesses that make Grayton the unique, quirky atmosphere that it is. This festival is free and open to the public.
Participating booths will include art, drink and food vendors along with local businesses. Enjoy live music by: Dread Clampitt, DJ 30A, The Shakedown, Ohana Institute, Shane Curle & Dion Nathaniel Jones Trio throughout the event.
The majority of proceeds made from raffle items at select booths will benefit charities that influence the Grayton Beach community like Gulf Therapy, Trees on the Coast, and the South Walton Artificial Reef Association (SWARA).

Grayton Beach is the first beach community established in South Walton, sometime in the late 19th century. If you walk down one of Grayton Beach's oyster-shell roads, you get the feeling things don't change very fast here.
