We are lucky to have superb weather here in SoWal for much of the year, and being active is just a way of life. If you're looking to keep that beach bod throughout the seasons and want to mix it up with a new routine, here's our latest SoWal List with a few excellent ways to move and groove in South Walton.
Boathouse Paddle Club is located on the shores of Western Lake in WaterColor. They're open daily for paddle board rentals, instruction and fitness classes. Visit the runsup.com website. Laura Bailey Yoga is located above Redfish Taco in Blue Mountain Beach. Laura Bailey has been practicing yoga since she was 21 years old and believes yoga benefits both one’s mental and physical health. Her classes are challenging but she encourages everyone from beginners to seasoned yogis to attend. Laura emphasizes, “Just do what you can. Pure Barre in WaterColor is part of the national franchise. Pure Barre is a total body workout that utilizes the ballet barre to perform small, isometric movements. These movements burn fat, sculpt muscles and help create lean physiques.
