Designer Mychael Knight will present his Fall/Winter 2014 Collection at South Walton Fashion Week. The second annual, multi-day event along Northwest Florida’s Gulf Coast will be held OCT 6-12 in Grand Boulevard at Sandestin's Town Center.

South Walton Fashion Week is produced by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County in conjunction with Monark Events and presented by Visit South Walton.

Knight, a renowned designer, was an integral part of the inaugural South Walton Fashion Week in 2013 and comes back to SWFW this year with an exclusive runway show and as a distinguished judge for the Emerging Designer competition.

Emerging Designers who apply and are selected as finalists, will showcase their designs on the Emerging Designer Runway with a winner being chosen by a fashion panel of distinguished judges including Knight. Applications will be accepted now through September 5th at swfw.org.

Since his successful run on season 3 of the hit Bravo show "Project Runway", Knight has been diligently claiming his place in the fashion industry. In addition to being sought after for his design aesthetic and fashion styling from celebrities such as Khloe Kardashian, Jagged Edge, 112, Jennifer Hudson, Tarji P. Henson, and Toni Braxton, his designs have been displayed in a variety of print publications including The Atlantan, Elle, Essence, Marie Claire, Ebony, Black Enterprise YRB, and The New York Times.  His creative direction and design talent has been beseeched from such corporations as Starbucks, Louis Glick, Nike, and Coca-Cola.

Tickets go on sale July 28th with prices starting at $55 for daily tickets and $150 for VIP packages. For additional information, please contact the Cultural Arts Alliance at (850) 622-5970, info@swfw.org and swfw.org.

South Walton Fashion Week’s events will showcase South Walton’s premier fashion boutiques and local and national designers with exclusive runways shows, special events and trunk shows; host a national Emerging Designer Competition and Model Competition, ultimately helping launch careers of up and coming talent.  The festivities will take place throughout South Walton in upscale boutiques and in Grand Boulevard at Sandestin’s Town Center.  A Style Lounge with Pop-Up Shops, a Launch Party, and Runway Shows will shape South Walton Fashion Week, bringing fashion to the beautiful sugar white beaches and turquoise waters of Northwest Florida’s Gulf Coast.
