CULTURAL ARTS ALLIANCE INTRODUCES CREATIVE KIDS CAMP SUMMER SESSIONS AT THE FOSTER GALLERY IN GRAND BOULEVARD
Four-day sessions for Pre-K and Elementary aged children offered through July

The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) announces the launch of its newest program for children, Creative Kids Camp, a series of four-day visual arts camp sessions that will give primary and elementary children a different hands-on experience each week.

Camp sessions are Monday through Thursday and run June 19-22, June 26-29, July 10-13, July 17-20 and July 24-27. Primary sessions are for ages 4-6 and take place from 9am – 12pm each day. Elementary sessions are for ages 7-12 and take place from 1pm – 4pm each day. Creative Kids Camp are held in the CAA’s Foster Gallery located at 560 Grand Boulevard, Suite 101 in Grand Boulevard’s Town Center (across from the fountains at Grand Park).

Lead instructor and artist Molly Huffman recently moved to Santa Rosa Beach from Louisville, Kentucky where she spent the past three years as the Visual & Gallery Director at Revelry Boutique Gallery. With a degree in Non-profit Leadership & Management, Molly has much experience focused on youth advocacy and community development. Molly was also a Montessori pre-school assistant teacher and has a strong background working with and on behalf of children.

Molly will teach the campers how to work with a variety of mediums and use different techniques so that each student goes home with a diverse portfolio of work.

Each four-day session is $150 per child, and space is limited. Registration is available online at www.CulturalArtsAlliance.com. Students should be dressed for a fun and messy art experience and should come to class with a peanut-free snack and drink.
