March 16, 2015 by SoWal Staff

Welcome in spring at the 10th Annual Art in the Park held at WaterColor's Cerulean Park and Town Center on March 21 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. WaterColor, located on Scenic Highway 30A, is the ideal backdrop for this open-air event where homeowners, visitors and locals are invited to spend the day exploring a wide spectrum of art, enjoying live music, socializing over a fun beverage and bite to eat or just relaxing in the park.

Artists of all genres will feature mediums including but not limited to: Oil, Acrylic and Watercolor Paintings, Charcoal, Chalk, Pastel and Color Pencil Drawings, Recycled Art, Photography, Printmaking, Digital Art, Glass Art, Jewelry, Fabric Art, Custom-Made Furniture, Mixed Media, Pottery, Wood Work and more.

"Our tenth year is bigger and better than ever! We are thrilled about the caliber of work that will be exhibited at this year's Art in the Park," said event manager, Hillary Fosdyck of Monark Events. "This is by far WaterColor's largest and most diverse show to-date and every year we are even more impressed with the talents of these incredible artists."

As a festive addition to this year’s event, local acoustic favorites, Chris Alvarado and Dannica Lowery, will play from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. in Cerulean Park and WaterColor’s Town Center. Boukou Groove will perform in front of Chan's Wine World in WaterColor from 2 - 5 p.m.

This year, Art in the Park will be adding an interactive painting experience where attendees can put their own stamp of creativity on 6 ft. block letters that spell A-R-T.  Be sure to bring out your friends and family to add your touch of artistry and enjoy this vibrant, colorful and lively event! Art in the Park is hosted by the WaterColor Community Association, and is free and open to the public. For more information, please email info@monarkevents.com.
