ArtsQuest in Seaside May 9-13, 2012 is a South Walton Favorite

The ArtsQuest Fine Arts & Music Festival is a great South Walton Mother's Day tradition. And for the 24th year you can expect to have a great time in Seaside enjoying great art, music, shopping, food, and people watching.
ArtsQuest is produced by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County and presented by Seaside and Visit South Walton. ArtsQuest is a juried fine arts show that includes 130 artists in the categories of Ceramics, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, Metal, Mixed Media, Oils & Acrylics, Original Digital Art, Photography, Sculpture, Wood and Works on Paper (Watercolor, Printmaking, Pastels, Pencils, Ink).
$10,000 in cash prizes is awarded to artists in the categories of Best In Show, Best In Category, Awards of Excellence, Awards of Merit and Best Booth. In addition to the fine arts show, ArtsQuest features the best in live musical entertainment and also features dance performances, artist demos, workshops and fun art projects for kids.
Seaside hosts a diverse collection of art galleries, shops and restaurants, coupled with cultural events and festivals, like ArtsQuest, that make it a South Walton focal point. Seaside offers a portfolio of beautiful, unique residences and guest cottages that reflect Seaside’s design and style that takes one back to a simpler time. Travel & Leisure named Seaside in its 100 Greatest Trips issue in 2009.

Getting to ArtsQuest is a breeze! Shuttle parking is conveniently located at Publix Super Market in WaterColor Crossings on County Road 395, just one mile east of Seaside. All attendees can park and enjoy a 5 minute air-conditioned complimentary ride to the Festival entrance. There will be no public parking in Seaside. Walking and riding your bike to the Festival is a great way to enjoy the great weather and natural beauty of South Walton.
Directions to Shuttle Parking: From Hwy. 331 and Hwy. 98 intersection, go approximately two miles and turn right (south) onto County Road 395. Follow signs to ArtsQuest parking lot and shuttle stop, which will be located south of the WaterColor Crossing shopping center/Publix, on your left.
