I'm sure this has been asked before but looking for the latest info. Who is a good wi fi provider in the Blue Mtn area. We can't get calls on our cell phones at Bella Vita, our provider is Verison. I have Embarg for land line. I need hi speed because I need to program cards for avionics for our plane on a bi weekly basis. Looking to get things in motion before we come down this winter for an extended stay. Thanks for any advice.

Embarq has DSL there and Mediacom has cable. WiFi is set up from your provider's modem through connection to a wireless router. If you mean wireless internet service, then check out Alltel or other carriers that have coverage there. Most have a 15-day trial period.
I have had good luck with my wireless DSL from Embarq. One piece of equipment, a wireless modem that plugs into a phone jack and an electrical outlet. My whole house is wifi now, I can take my laptop from room to room. I also have a desktop with wireless capability and I access the internet on it from the same system. Setup was simple. Just don't fool around with Embarq's email address, use gmail or something you can access anywhere.
For cell phone service, I just ditched Alltel in favor of TMobile, which has a better signal.
