Anyone else noticed a change at Bruno's? We've found that it is almost impossible to get through by phone and when you do, the person answering is surly and unfriendly. Being a local, it makes a big difference and the change is not a positive for a place we reccommended on a daily basis. If there has been a change in management, they've lost my business and my support

What do you mean, "what's happened to Bruno's?" They were consistently like that to me when I first moved here ten years ago, so I haven't been back. At least they are consistent. I asked to speak to their manager and the rude guy said, "I AM the manager!" Oh, well, there are better places to spend my money on pizza.

We have no problems at Brunos. Pizza Bar is my favorite pizza by far, but sometimes we get a jones for Bruno's Mexican pizza. If the phone is busy, I just drive over and place my order because it's so close. They are nice to me because they recognize me and my unmistakable voice.

Maybe it helps that I tip for takeouts?

We had a not so pleasant experience this past summer with Brunos Pizza. They should be nice to everyone, not just because they recognize your voice....or not. IMHO.

Sounds like the same Bruno's that I experienced when I moved here many years ago....

Haven't been back since. Way too many great pizza places in this area who are polite, professional and respectful to EVER go back to that dump.

We go in often and never have a problem. I will confess that there is a certain individual that could come across as needing to hone his people skills but honestly, he's a nice fellow. I find the food great and am able to tolerate rudeness to a certain extent. For the most part, I'm as nice as they'll let me be.

With that being said, I sure miss Steve and Andrea. :)

I fear what rude employees and managers would do to my food behind my back if they are like that to my face. "Nice fellows" don't treat paying customers like they were scum.
